Our on-campus Christian chaplaincy offers a safe environment where students from diverse backgrounds and any faith can come together to honestly question, grow and live out their faith. UCM extends a warm welcome to young people, and travels with them through all the twists, turns and detours of their spiritual journeys.

Our Chaplain, Holly Ulmer offers confidential non-judgmental listening.

Board Certified with the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc., as a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains with over 10 years of experience as an on-call Chaplain at Holy Cross Hospital, Chaplain Holly offers support to ALL UMD STUDENTS from any or no religious tradition.

She can also help you connect with other UMD Chaplains, or other area professionals if you are seeking support from a particular faith or secular tradition.

If you are seeking emotional or crisis support, our doors are open for you. Although we are not licensed counselors, we are here to help you in your journey and offer our emotional and spiritual support.
