5/5 UMD Annual Memorial Celebration, 2 pm, Memorial Chapel, Remembering the Lives of Students, Faculty, Emeriti Faculty & Staff
We mourn the lives lost and feel deeply that all Terrapins should be honored for their contributions to our campus. The university’s annual Memorial Celebration brings our community together to remember the lives of Maryland students, faculty, emeriti faculty, and staff who passed during the past year. This celebration allows us to remember recent losses together as a community. This year’s second annual Memorial Celebration is symbolic of what it means to be part of the Terrapin family, and we encourage all members of our community to join us in person at the Memorial Chapel or through the live stream. This celebration will honor current students, staff, faculty, and emeriti faculty who passed away from April 2021 through April 2022 while enrolled at or working for the university.
