“Hi Everyone! My name is Rachel Koehler, and I am so excited to be working with you all this year. I am going into my second year at Wesley Theological Seminary and am currently seeking ordination as a deacon within the United Methodist Church. I first experienced my call to ministry in the mountains of Appalachia working for Appalachia Service Project, and I continued to explore it through various internships in DC and Indianapolis (where I went to college at Butler University - Go Dawgs!). These experiences taught me the value of interfaith relationships and allowed me to research the intersection of faith and politics. I look forward to delving into some of these subjects with you all and creating a strong community together during this unusual time of pandemic.
