L3 Sunday 11/10, 6 – 7:30 p.m., Memorial Chapel Come this Sunday night 6 p.m. at the Chapel for conversation, snacks, and an evening prayer service on the theme of Veteran’s Day in support of student Veterans on our campus. Looking forward to seeing you! Friends always welcome. We meet in the Lounge and the Garden Chapel.
L3 Community Service 11/13, Tutoring Elementary School Children in Langley Park, Meet up at the Chapel Side Entrance at 2:50 p.m. Free van transportation (Leaves at 3 pm sharp!) Join with other UMD students to help at-risk elementary school children with homework, crafts and games. We are staying in our neighborhood, going just west of campus to Langley Park. The van returns to campus by 5:30 p.m. with stop offs at north & south campus and the Chapel.
L3 Busy Student Retreat 11/17 – 11/24 Ever want to go on a retreat but don’t feel like you have the time? No problem, join in the Busy Student Retreat. Participate in spiritual/religious activities all week, get points every time you do an activity (prizes for highest point participants), and join diverse students from across UMD for an end of retreat reflection and celebration! Deepen your daily spiritual experience and reduce end of semester stress.
