How do you SEE and READ the Bible? What have you been taught about the Bible by your own religious tradition?

Is the Bible divine, or human? Both? Do you read the texts as the inspired by God, or as the literal Word of God?

As a jumping off point we will look at the story of Jesus walking on water found in Matthew 14:22-33.
